Vienna, Austria – The Association for Transnational Higher Education Accreditation (ATHEA) is delighted to announce its highly anticipated Annual General Assembly, scheduled for Friday, September 15th, 2023. This exclusive “members only” event will be hosted at ATHEA’s newest member school, IDRAC Business School in the picturesque city of Lyon, France.
Over the past three years, ATHEA has undergone transformations that have propelled the organization to new heights. Since 2020, ATHEA has experienced exceptional growth, witnessing a doubling of its accredited schools and institutional members. This expansion is a testament to the commitment of educational institutions worldwide to adhere to rigorous, European standards in higher education.
In addition to its growth, ATHEA has forged strategic alliances with key partners, such as the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) and Peregrine Global Services. These partnerships have amplified ATHEA’s global footprint and influence within the higher education accreditation landscape. To accommodate its expanding mission, ATHEA has bolstered its team by welcoming new staff members who bring fresh perspectives and expertise to further enhance the organization’s capabilities.
One of the most momentous milestones on ATHEA’s horizon is the initiation of the EQAR (European Quality Assurance Register) recognition process. With an ambitious target to secure recognition by the first quarter of 2025, ATHEA is poised to demonstrate its unwavering commitment to promoting and upholding the highest standards of quality in transnational higher education accreditation.
