Dr. Mariam Shebaya is an accomplished academic, leadership development expert, and quality assurance professional with extensive international experience in higher education, organizational development, and executive coaching. She currently serves as AACSB Accreditation Manager and Assistant Professor at the University of Balamand’s Faculty of Business and Management, while also contributing as a consultant, researcher, and advisor across academic and corporate sectors globally.
With a Ph.D. in Management (Work and Organizational Psychology) from Aston University, UK, Dr. Shebaya brings deep expertise in leadership development, accreditation, organizational effectiveness, and management education. Her work spans collaboration with universities, international accreditation initiatives, and leadership development programs across the Middle East, Europe, and North America.
In addition to her academic and accreditation leadership, Dr. Shebaya is the founder of Mpact Consulting & Coaching, where she advises organizations on strategic leadership, organizational development, performance management, and executive coaching. Her clients have included major international organizations and institutions such as Saudi Aramco, Chicago Bridge & Iron, the Norwegian Refugee Council, and the American University of Beirut Medical Center.
Dr. Shebaya is also an active researcher and thought leader, with publications and conference presentations focused on leadership development, graduate employability, workplace well-being, ethics, mindfulness in education, and sustainable management practices.
