ATHEA announces Candidacy approval for IFM Business School

The Association for Transnational Higher Education Accreditation (ATHEA) is pleased to announce that IFM Business School, located in Geneva, Switzerland, has been approved as a Candidacy Member of ATHEA.

IFM is a private, internationally-oriented institution offering business education programs in Geneva, with more than 50 years of Swiss-quality pedigree. The school currently offers a range of undergraduate and graduate programs, including BBA, Bachelor, Master, and MBA tracks in fields such as Management, Finance, Marketing, Luxury Business, Entrepreneurship & Innovation, among others.

As a Candidacy Member, IFM joins the ATHEA community in preparation for full accreditation. During this candidacy period, IFM will work closely with ATHEA to develop, refine, and validate its institutional processes, policies, and documentation in alignment with ATHEA’s standards and the European Standards and Guidelines (ESG).

This milestone marks an important step forward for IFM as it continues to strengthen its quality assurance practices, institutional effectiveness, and global engagement. Through ATHEA’s peer review and developmental support structures, IFM will now engage in guided self-evaluation, evidence gathering, and site visits as part of its candidacy trajectory toward full accreditation.
